And they're off

•This is a very quirky, yet extremely enjoyable, old fashioned style of indoor horse racing.

•It involves string, bobbin, a green baize, finishing posts, fencing and of course, 6 model horses with riders. A flat race.

•The contestants standing at the finish line, face the same way as the horses will be 'galloping' towards, from the starting line.

•On the "OFF" the power is provided by nimble wrists and fingers winding their horse in on their bobbin.

•The first horse past the post is generally declared the winner by the steward, who has timed the result on a stop watch. However if a win is questionable the steward will be brought in to settle the matter using his usual authority!

•Minimum space required: 13ft x 6ft.
